o.k.-i've been given the task of finding out about broadband for my work. help! i'm only 17, and i'm confused!!! it's only one compuer it's needed for, and we'll need software to stop -erm- sensitive sites apearing etc...so-can someone help? please...*puppy eyes*

can guys do puppy eyes? is that allowed? 😕

What country are you in?

For one computer, your best bet woudl probably be some kind of ADSL or cable option, from any of the many ISPs that do them. There's lots of sites that will help you choose but it depends where you live.

i am on blueyonder broadband...i think they do that in scotland. but bt do a good child protected broadband which filters alot of pages.

i'm in scotland-i've done a bit of research, and NTL are £15p/m and bt are £30 but a faster connection. however-we don't need connection speed, all we need is connection to the internet. will the companies that do "free installation" also set up the computer software etc?...😛

I`ve got NTL, free install, and they can guide you through set up, but it`s a peice of p**s to get going. 😉
