Something dreadfully wrong with a management team that get rid of Shanahan to bring in a dummy coach who cannot seem to get anything out of his players! Raiders are not thtat good. To lose like this to a team with no QB is dreadful!

this time last year we were six wins with no losses, something is seriously wrong, Kyle Orton has second highest throwing yards i think in the NFL and yet we truly stink.

In context of NFL long term parity/shorter term equilibrium, vigorish driven

Gramps you know i am a peasant farmer who likes simple things expressed in a simple manner, free of ambiguity and the cloak of language, so while you may be a true beatnik poet able to distil with a single breath the very essence of language in a kind of abstract collage, i myself need some tangible basis with which to attach my scant understanding 🙂

Why sure, Robbie. There are several relevant conversations during

the past seven weeks in '2010 NFL Big Pond Pub' you may enjoy.

In many realms, talent alone isn't enough. Team focus, work ethic, character,

insightful loyalty down/loyalty up leadership matter as greatly today as ever.

Some things never change nor should they! Leadership is important and perhaps more so than talent!

Well said.

An NFL Franchise is clearly a unique high risk/reward proposition. Cannot have

highest paid player at all positions. Must recruit and cultivate younger players.
