Sorry to plug uChess here, but what the hell, I'll abuse my position.

This build has gone some way to address the loneliness problem - you can now see who is currently playing games. You still can't spectate, but it is quite reassuring to know if people are online and who maybe up for a game in the near future.

Postions are there to be abused 😉

Good work on the site btw.

I pulled this thread after I found a glitch (users who had left the site remained as ghosts...you never felt lonely with all these visitors from the past loitering around.)

Very nice work on Uchess, Russ. I use Opera primarily though, and it doesn't seem to work (it does work if I use IE5 though). Any ideas?

I just ran Opera :

Version7.23
Build3227
PlatformWin32
SystemWindows XP

And it ran no problem.

Please visit here when running Opera :

Also, why not run FireFox as the IE alternative? I think you will prefer it to Opera - http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ I hate using Opera even for testing these days - but that's just me.

Thanks Russ! I've just got it running. I had some troubles with Mozilla in the past and thus switched to Opera, which I rather like.
