Shane Warne (One of australias greatest cricket legends) has officialy retired today. Although he will still play the rest of the ashes series he says his time to Retire is now.

Yeah, yeah...he's says that now, but in 2.5 years when the ACB beg him to return for just one ashes tour...

Congratulations to Warney on all his great achievements as a bowling legend of Australian cricket. First man to take 600 wickets and first man who will break 700 wickets in his last two tests.
This man and Glen McGrath carried Australia's bowling attack for 10 plus years. 15 years for Warne in service to the baggy green. Respect.
Warne would have been Australia's captain after Steve Waugh except he is a dopey tool off the field.
Its a shame the chucker (Murali) will overtake him but thats for another thread. Murali is being critisised in New Zealand at the moment for his suspect bowling actions. Good.
Vale to Warneys amazing talents. The only slow bowler who has an unwavering belief that he will get a wicket every over.
Gonna miss that.
