That is my guess... but he seemed rather distant in past couple months, not as active... a little bored?

Ah,I see now.
Well,this is exactly why I felt so strong about the whole closing threads deal.Which,btw,was so very much unappreciated by the rest of the community.Now a player with 43577 moves on his record leaves because of a moderating issue?So sad.....
Maybe it is time to reconsider the whole moderating system,make it better?
Maybe I should post this in the debate forum?


PS:Maybe we should talk less and play more chess?😛
PPS😕orry,it's impossible for me to be entirely serious for more than 5 minutes,which is about the time it took me to write the above post 🙄

I guess he was upset over some moderated posts. I tried to be tolerant, as I know what Eddie was saying was in humour (and it didn't offend me personally), but this wasn't the case for others.

It is not easy trying to keep everyone happy when there are so many people here communicating from so many different corners of the world with very different cultures.
