Just read a nice article in Scientific American, Oct 2005 issue
about Wi-Fi networks and what is going on to improve wireless access.
Author is Alex Hills of Carnegie-mellon, who started the first Wi-fi
network there in 1994. You may recall my post about difficulties
I experienced from weak signals due to the fact I was sucking
bandwidth from a neighbors wi-fi unbeknownst to me till I figured it
out.
From Sci-fi to Wi-fi, eh.
