Damn, I thought you were talking about the insect. There's nothing more soothing than the calming chorus of chirps whilst camping in the pitch black forest.

I just came back from action cricket now myself, so I will check this out tomorrow.

In a practise match against fast bowling I lasted exactly 4 overs with a score of:

9/10

I hit one 6 and one 3.

THey have not missed a rule. My batman Hayden got hit in the head by a bouncer. He collapsed to the ground , hitting the wicket on the way down and was rightly given out. You saw him collapsed on the gournd with the stumps dislodged 😀

My batsmen refuse to play a shot as soon as they bring on the spinners :o( Spoils the whole game.

You should stop playing with SA then, other teams aren't frightened of playing spin 😉

I could only manage 158/8
Once the wickets start falling there's no stopping. Friggn Dennis Lillee gets me every time...

First go I came away 59 for 10 🙁. Lehmann got a 32 and I was looking alright, but then my tail collapsed completely.

Yes the bat doesnt move at all,the batsman is very willing toduck though. I am playing as Zimbabwe now and the problem seems to have disappeared. Very frustrating,I once had 136/2 and winning easily until the spinners started their onslaught. :o(

I've only played the slog game though and friggin Haldee and Emburey kick my ass...

You have to get the timing pretty exact with the spinners to even have a shot.
I've given up for the night. I'm in a form slump, I can't even break 100 anymore. grrr

Getting it right with the spinners is definitely a hard task. Once you've got the timing right with playing shots, it's very difficult to avoid getting caught...then again, I should probably stop trying to pull and sweep absolutely everything!

Keep plugging away, soon you'll not be giving 5 wickets away to Emburey in his first over!

Phew. Warne & co are really getting to me.Forget getting caught i am being bowled 9 times out of 10.
