Rob, there was something there last night, but it was very faint and couldn't be made out very clearly.

and was able to see you avatar.
I'm not sure what the problem is.

Maybe the graphic file exceeds the parameters for either size or dimension.

Sounds like a problem for Russ...
Probably needs to give us the specific limits for graphics used in the forum and in the profile window.

I made it exactly 50 pixels by 50 pixels. That is the correct dimension isn't it?

Yes, I set up that web page specifically for my avatar. Sometimes it will link up, sometimes not. I'm at work now and am unable to see it from my computer there. I don't understand what the problem is. 🙁

i think, but am not completely sure, it is because the image is on a geocities site. i know of people who have had difficulties posting images on to messageboards from geocities - i think there is something in their software to prevent you doing this. but maybe someone more computer literate may explain it better.... 😕
