They taste exactly the same to me, but my wife can tell them apart. She likes Pepsi and *doesn't* like Coca-Cola...that's insane.

I'm sure I could tell the difference if I had a can of each and alternated between sips. But to immediately know whether one is Coke or Pepsi just by the taste? Pfft.

Maybe it's because I rarely drink soda.

I think the easiest way to tell the difference is in the spelling.

Your taste buds are not up to standard, clearly. You cannot become a cook / chef.

Thank goodness I can taste letters.

Coca-Cola...If you pour a can or bottle of it down a drain that is clogged, leave it over night, it will eat through it and open the blockage. I once saw that done as a kid and never drank Coca-Cola again. Imagine what it must do to your stomach?

Does that also work with Pepsi?

That works with a whole pile of drinks which people normally consume.

your stomach acids are so strong that they would not only eat through the blockage but would eat through the pipes as well
heavy cola drinkers need to worry about their teeth more

I really don't know, but never drank either one after I saw that being done and actually working on the clogged pipe. The next step of course would have been to run a snake down the pipe, which can put a leak in the pipe if not done properly.
