@very-rusty said“Canada Day”?
Under the present circumstances have the best Canada Day you can. Happy Canada day to all Canadians no matter what part of the world you may be in.

Couldn’t someone (whoever it was) come up with something more imaginative? We have saint’s days over here, each representing a different country of the UK/GB.

You're talking about a group of people who came up with an over sized Maple Leaf for a national flag.
You do realize that, right?

@uglytoproll saidIMHO the flag of Canada is one of the best in the world. It doesn't immortalise wars or conflict or the past. It doesn't look like a bowl of fruit like so many of the newer flags.
Lmao!
The dumbest flag ever.
We're stuck with a flag showing nothing but our past invasion, and it's not even our national colours. Send your flag-designers to Australia please!

Apparently, I used to say I was Canadian when I was younger. Despite my memory and the fact that I was very aware from a young age, I do not recall this. It did, however, make sense as at the time of leaving I had lived there for more than half my life.
