I Live in Eastern Canada, that is all out west my old friend. Not their first fire either. Remember the bad one they had back some years ago. I am wondering if someone is setting them?

I saw a satellite pic, must be cloudy in the east. Being colorblind and severe cataracts hard ro tell smoke from clouds.

Ok. This is how you tell.

"When smoke gets in your eyes,
It's not clouds"

I'm in north-central Wyoming and we're getting plenty of smoke from those fires. It sure cuts down on visibility at times and actually becomes depressing. Sadly, it is an annual event around here, not just from Canada, but eveywhere in the western US as well.

There was a fire near where VR resides on, “the east coast” so I’m sure he had to deal with, at least, that. Here in Southwestern Ontario, we HAD some of the smoke but at such heights that it, other than making the sky look “misty” had no other effect.

Cloudy yes, but can't smell smoke or see it. No haze either at least not yet. I remember one fire in either Quebec or Ontario decades ago, it was dark here during the day. you could smell the smoke like the fire was in our neighborhood. Your eyes would get watery even with the cataracts I'm sure.

Those wild fires are in different parts of Canada. It seems like longer than a month to me Pondy.

What the heck is going on up there? Did they move California to Canada or something? Sheeeesh

Nothing new, we get wild fires every year. Just seems to be more and wider spread this year for some reason From Nova Scotia, right across Canada to B.C. at different times.

You can stick that red thumb where the sun don'ts shine for all I care! 😛
