This is sad and shocking news. Marc was a long-time veteran of long distance endurance events and lover of chess. I offer my condolences to his family and friends.

This is very sad news, but this is also a remainder about how fragile the life is. You can never know when it is your time. Therefore, be always nice and considered towards your friends, family, coworkers and even your enemies. You do not want to be remembered as an evil person, but as a loving and caring friend.
My condoleances to the famile, friends and clan members.
Perhaps we could send his family something from this community to his family since they must have known his love for chess and running.
Sincerely,
Harri / Luck
