Yeah... you heard me right CAT WASHING. So here's what's happening:

My cat, being the crazy one that she is, started trying to chew her little pink collar off again. However, in the process of doing so, all the pink dye that give the collar it's colour started to transfer on to her fur. So now she has pink fur! So to try and get it out, I took off her collar and tried shampoo (L'oreal shampoo to be exact) and water (Strangely enough, she didn't seem to mind this) and lots of baby wipes (Which are usually used at keyboard wipes. ^^;; ) and it still didn't come out. All I did with that was made my her smell like apples and wet cat (Which doesn't smell as bad as wet dog but even still). So I'm wondering if anyone has and suggestions on other stuff I can try to get the pink dye out of her fur?

Thanks for anyone who helps.

Apply shampoo, put her in the toilet (you may wish to clean it), sit on the lid and flush.

If she's a small cat, you may or may not wish to create some sort of raft.

Hey! I love my cats! *Hugs both cats* I don't get what's with people's thing against them really. I used to hate cats until I got two of them. 😉

Anyways... on to the subject of my poor pink kitty....

Shave the critter bald. At the same time, save the L'Oreal Labs some time and test whether or not the shampoo irritates cats' eyes.

I'm a dog person, me.

Just BBQ her. Then she will be a nice shade of brown all over.

I use a pair of welding gloves. It aint no fun bathing a cat. My boy sealed my wifes cat in a tupperware box for about five hours before we wondered where the cat was. The poor cat had urinated and deficated all over itself and was quite sad. I brought the cat downstairs to the laundry tub and filled it with No more tears shampoo and warm water. I grabbed the cat carefully around the neck and put it into the water. It was like trying to put an octopus into a sweater. Got the job done and the cat lived. You just have to be quick and don't expose any skin you wanna keep.

I have to agree with you on that. The more skittish cat once had wet cat clay on her feet (Don't make me think of where that's been! Oh!Pllleeeaaaasssseeee..... don't make me think where that's been!) and I ended up washing her back paws. That was not pleasent either! Luckily, I got out of that with just one scratch. ^^;;

Well anyways... with more baby/keyboard wipes, and more L'oreal, I manged to get the last of it out. I'm lucky she was the brave one otherwise any exposed flesh I have well.... I wouldn't be having it anymore. (Not to say it isn't the first time I would have done something completely horrible to myself that involves some form of self inflicted injury) I just ended up massaging everything gently in to her fur and then massaged everything out again. Actually, she really didn't mind me at all. She was actually purring (And with her since she's only a 2 yrs old kitten and usually easily distractable, getting her to purr is very very hard.) So there's no more pink in her fur anymore. Now my next goal is to get her a new collar since she destroyed the other one.

Asside from the pink, she already IS mostly brown anyways. She's a snowshoe Siamese. *Throws chicken wings at Phil Nutley*

You have answered the original question here mate.

Get a collar that has the same colour as the cat (before the pink dye). The cat will chew it again and the colour will be replaced.

Many people have problems giving their cat a bath.I have had cats since I was a very young boy.I know how to relate to them as one of their own.I give my cats baths often and they seem to really like it.
The only big problems are that ,the hairs stick to my tongue,
and then I cough up fur balls.
