Sing it, "We are all gonna party in Time Square like it's Covid 1999!"
@trev33 saidNo need to be that upset! Some good news.
Bollocks.
The zoo has given an update and it seems that Nadia and
six other big cats showing symptoms are on the mend.
"A little TLC by the keepers taking care of them, some
anti-inflammatory medications," Paul Calle, chief veterinarian
for the Wildlife Conservation Society's Bronx Zoo, told Reuters.
He said all had mild illnesses and were likely to recover.

Let’s hope that the domestic cats don’t get it and start spreading it around? One regularly spends the night sleeping on a rattan chair in my little front porch. Only this morning I was thinking it looked a bit unkempt and another local cat seems to have developed two bald patched in it’s fur?

@drewnogal saidDomestic cats can get it.

From what I have read it is extremely difficult to catch it from your dog or cat.

@wolfgang59 saidRight now the RSPCA are being overwhelmed by people abandoning their pets through fear. The important thing to emphasize here is that people are not thought to catch it from pets. At times of high anxiety rumours and misinformation contribute to the pressure on important structures within society.

Even if your pet had C-19 (so far only heard about a couple in HongKong)
it is incredibly difficult to catch from your pet .. more chance getting it off
a can of baked beans. The domestic cats I previously referred to had intentionally been infected in a lab.
Apologies if my post was construed as a warning. I'm an
animal lover with two rescue dogs - don't desert your pets!
@wycombe-al saidTry and stay safe doctor.
if everyone stops shagging their pets they should be safe
