guess where i've been for the last few days?
the download festival! i saw anthrax! megadeth! 3 incehs of bloof! velvet revolver! flogging molly! and it was amazing. i mean-even slipknot were amazing, even though i don't really like their music. they are, without a doubt, one of the best bands i've seen live. i landed up face-down and spread eagle in one of their pits. apparently that's not a good idea as you can die...
and due to a lack of rain, it was extremly dusty. but all in a very successfull weekend, even if i do say so myself...
Originally posted by welsharniei really liked them, but i think quite a few people didn't. i mean-they're not guns n' roses, so you can't compare one to the other! slash was on top form though...
i've got the velvet revolver album, it's pretty good, but i've heard bad reviews of their live performances, were they any good?
also, i meant to say. you can tell you're at a proper rock festival when pictures of dimebag on the big screen get bigger cheers than the videos of the girls with their breasts out...
had an awesome weekend,
did anyone think it was really cold!! damn i was
apart from saturday when it was roasting and got burnt
sabbeth rocked, i also saw megadeth on of my fave bands for the first time although they should do another uk gig with a full set, yea i agree slipknot put on a good show but not a big fan of their music, enjoyed trivium just what you need to cure a hangover on saturday morning. velvet revolver were good also,
didn't pay attention to anything after megadeth on friday wasn't to fussed about anything after that
the dwarves sucked ass and it was funny when they got turned down, ha!!!
