Where I live, I would say it is not a draw but a win. People are able to find out, share, compare, consider, decide, organize, coordinate, act, challenge, resist, and much else besides. For a country emerging from decades of military dictatorship, and gradually building civil society institutions and dialogues, "Cell, Remote and Mouse" are a big, big win.

Anything which offers convenience as well as information is definitely a win.

cell - a mobile phone is a mixed blessing. A life saver sometimes and an annoying nuisance other times. On a lesser scale you can excuse yourself in time being in a traffic jam.

remote definitly a curse. People should be able to walk to their appliance and deal from hand. I am specially angered if you can't operate one without remote.

mouse a blessing. Just so much easier to point and click then to put in cryptic commands (and yes I am one of the dinosaurs who actually operated exclusivly from command lines...
