RBHILL I have a question. I was brought up a Christian and was confirmed at the age of 13. Am I to be saved, or do I need to repent for the last 10 years? If I had not been confirmed, would my situation be any different?

RBHILL, answer me this: does believing get you into heaven? And what exactly is truly accepting Christ? I spent the first 16 years of my life in church and still don't know. I have "asked Jesus into my heart" as the pastor put it, but is this truly accepting?

I was confirmed myself in the catholic Church myself.
Being confirmed doesn't mean accepting Christ into your heart. Being Confirmed means believing what the Church says.

Let me ask you this is Last rights Biblical?

There is a Bible verse about him being the Princes and ruler of this world once sin came in. That is why you are lost in your sins becasue you want to follow him. And I know you think you are trying to Joke around but being lost like yourself and choosing to go to hell for yourself is no joke.
So if I understand this correctly, following the introduction of a little sin into the world, it was so strong it overrode all the good that a so called God had done. God was overthrown and Satan became the ruler.

Maybe all those that do not follow the path of the new ruler, Satan, are the lost souls and choosing to go to heaven reather than hell is the pathway to eternal damnation and all the believers in God want more lost souls to keep them company.

It warms my heart to see members of the PFC in this thread. Crowley and Starrman, I would like to share the faith whale with you so that we may make a Pod of Faith Cetaceans and put an end to the Scheissenanic blasphemy.

Towards thee I roll, thou all-destroying but unconquering whale; to the last I grapple with thee; from hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee. Sink all coffins and all hearses to one common pool! And since neither can be mine, let me then tow to pieces, while still chasing thee, though tied to thee, thou damned whale! Thus, I give up the spear!

Lets just say, because everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's Glory they are going to hell. The Word of God say breaking one law you are gulty of all.

So say if you lived to be a 100 years old and you sinned at least once a day that would be 36,525 sins. And you could even have more then that. It is not by good works. You can only get in if God gives you the heart to accept his son becasue only he can give you faith to believe.

That's a very comforting and appealing message.

I am glad the courts don't have the same sense of justice as God. "You are accused of bank robbery, mass murder, and rape. You have admitted that you crossed the road when the traffic-lights were red. So you are guilty as charged. Case closed."

Well being a true Judge they need to be just.
