I dream that maybe someday there will be an academy dedicated to chess. And every kids dream would be to enter it because of its prestige and high standards. and with the demands getting higher new institutions will sprout.Thus the evolution of chess as a premier sport. Less drugs,violence,crimes and more refined human as products of the academy.Never going to happen. srry.😳

a lot depends on whether it can be 'sold' to the public and thereby receive appropriate funding if it is to make it into most school systems.
i believe that former world champion z. polgar runs a chess academy in new york i think so it is just a matter of someone thinking this is a great idea so let's take it into the education system.
