Yeah, I miss my old TI99. I had commodore MB's all over the place. That would be because I used to work at Commodore before they bit the dust, near philly right off 309.

I am afraid I didn't come from such a fancy-schmancy background as you Atari, Commodore and Spectrum owners.

Anyone remember the ZX-80? 1KB of memory, and the screen had to go blank when you were running a program. Happy days......

Somebody somewhere wrote a chess program in 1KB, but I think that was for the ZX-81.

Yeah, we had the BEST man! My wife was given a Microsoft PC, it had some screamers, an 8080 CPU WITH the math co-processor, running 4 frigging megahertz, can you IMAGINE such speed?

Maybe it was as advanced as an 8085! But the math co-processor, WOW.

Did the same with the original Nintendo, same luck. Marble madness, what an annoying classic.

Talking of marbles, I also found one of those under the bed.

It still worked.

Don't go there. Where he lost his marbles does not concern us.

Not sure why I think this is relevant, but I like playing games "no-reload" style. This means if I lose, I have to go clean the kitchen, or pick up the dog poop, or something. Wonderful motivation and immersion! This is for real!

^^^ Doesn't work with, say, Call of Duty type stuff. Fun to watch, but I have no interest in constantly re-spawning.
