Chess Hustlers

Does anyone have the experience of plying against street chess hustlers?
Several cities in the U.S have them, don't know of any here in the uk.

I played one in New orleans on the corner of bourbon, and whatever the name of that big wide street is that goes past harrahs and the hilton. It took him 45 minutes to beat me, he was darn good. Had a nice crowd that starting building in the middle game and then stayed for the endgame. Best five dollars I ever lost on a street corner.
