It's a game.No sport,no art,just a game.
But it is the best game ever 🙂

This is the " Chess is sport, science, art " , idea .
Anyone who loves chess can appreciate the art of chess; how the pieces work together, the tension and resolution ( yes, I'm hinting at chord changes in music theory ) .
Science is easy .. a finite number of moves, the ability to calculate combination, ( computer success proves this ).
Sport is the tricky one . There are sport elements in chess; the initiative, balance, and tempo themes in chess are found in boxing, fencing . And I think the dual nature of chess moves, ( always an offence, defense component to each move ) makes me think of basketball and hockey, because of the way a team flows back and forth from one to the other.
