To answer this question you will definitely have to be at least middle-aged and probably have lived in the UK (although the programme might have been produced or screened elsewhere).

In the early to mid-1960's I remember watching a weekly programme on UK TV which featured famous chess games ("The Immortal Game", "The Evergreen Partie" and so on). The pieces on the board seemed to move on their own - probably through the use of magnets under the board I suppose - and there was a commentary on the game in the background. At the end, the losing King fell over (I think) and was carried off the board in a horizontal position by (I think) a couple of pawns. Does anyone else remember this, and can you tell me what it was called?
