It is a catchy phrase don't you think? When your head is empty, confuse the issue. Politicians do it all the time. I was thinking of putting it on a billboard with a picture of back the of XanthosNZ head.

Signal to noise ratio. A term used in communications to determine how much noise is present in a connection. A high noise connection would need more redundant data to ensure the signal got through.

General doesn't contain any signal for the noise to swamp. There isn't any intelligent discussion here.

For anyone who is interested (that'll be none of you if I'm right) you can find more by looking for the Shannon-Hartley theorem.
