-Removed-I have mellowed as a passionate lover of music considerably over the decades ~ from the hardlines [negative passion] that I once adopted in my oftentimes quite tribal younger years ~ concerning certain music ~ and nowadays I find I can have an appreciation of stuff I once derided... or even a newfound sentimentality ~ but WHAM has not benefited from this process.

@drewnogal saidWhile driving in my car I always sing along with whatever tune is playing on the radio…much to Mairead’s chagrin. She thinks my singing “sucks”.😲😢😁
I was listening to some lovely old Christmas songs on Classic FM in the car today. Found myself suddenly joining in with Winter Wonderland.

But then I've never heard you sing. 😏

@great-big-stees saidIt's like singing in the shower, we do it for ourselves. 🙂

@torunn saidI've been told to leave my singing in the shower. 😢

@drewnogal saidI don't recall saying I sounded good, just that my singing would be best left in the shower. 🙂
Funny how we all like the sound of our own voice and think we sound good. What exactly does that tell us about ourselves?

-Removed-I will spend Christmas Eve working whilst listening on my ear pods to David Bowie albums that I have, for many years, found somewhat hard to like: HOURS (1999), HEATHEN (2002), and THE NEXT DAY (2013). I already like REALITY (2003); I associate it with the birth of my second son. This musical parole board meeting's deliberations will NOT be extended to TONIGHT (1984) and NEVER LET ME DOWN (1987) who have no hope whatsoever of ever being released from gaol.
