Today has been a great day. Travelled down to Clacton to do the big family thing and returned home just in time to catch the end of it's a wonderful life. (Where all George's friends turn up to give him all their money and save him from being arrested).
This seems an apt time to draw a line under the whole Dive thing that tends to rear its head and ruin threads. Years ago I made an assumption about him based on his symbiotic relationship with FMF and made the now infamous remark, 'Dive's fingerprints are all over this.' - His persistent denials over the years makes it highly likely I misjudged his involvement and with hindsight should have spoken to him privately first to gage his awareness of what had occurred. - For this reason I now offer him a public apology (no sarcasm) and hope we can now put this to bed.
I still hold the opinion that Dive is a bit of a toerag and that he doesn't treat personally shared information the way he should, but the fingerprints thing was badly handled on my part. - The FMF thing will unfortunately continue, as he and I still have different recollections of what occurred and I don't foresee any resolution to that.
I also send apologies to Moonbus for breaking into his shed and stealing his tractor.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidNow here is a really important question. Can you even drive a tractor??? ๐ ๐

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI see you as a backstabbing puffed-up nobody on the internet who has spent the last few weeks desparately trying to troll me by weaponizing the issue of mental health.

The radio show you tried to sabotage after just four shows is fast approaching its 200th edition and is made by a bunch of diverse people around the world I consider my friends.
That it's taken you three and half years before finally apologizing to divegeester is pathetic.
you really should try to find a settlement with FMF, as much as you genuinely felt aggrieved at the time, and despite that “other thing” going on, I’m 100% sure there was absolutely no maliciousness in that radio thing which happened, as coincidental as it was.Ghost of Duke's accusation surrounding the inclusion of two of his stories in show 3 and show 4 [back in 2020] is both delusional and paranoid, and STILL is, in the everyday sense of both words.
His accusation that I did what I did out of malice - and to deliberately "humiliate" him - is preposterous and rather reminds me of robbie carrobie and Seitse chasing me around the forums accusing me of being a pedophile merely because they got rubbed up the wrong way in some forum chat.
@fmf saidI remember well your epic battle with robbie when he accused you of being a pedophile. He ended up scurrying off as he always did when he was outgunned.

@the-gravedigger saidI think [2] and [3] merged into each other. When that Australian Commission report came out, robbie carrobie's wheels fell off AND his y-fronts were at his ankles.
No.2 was a real humdinger for robbie.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidYou misjudged the situation with me too. You should have spoken to me privately about your objection ~ I'd have told you that it was just a bit of light-heartedness, easily changed. But, then again, doing that would have taken the venom out of the extraordinarily vindictive thing you decided to do next.
His persistent denials over the years makes it highly likely I misjudged his involvement and with hindsight should have spoken to him privately first to gage his awareness of what had occurred.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke
My two daughters taunt each other with humorous jibes back and forth, like ping pong. Once, many years ago now, I happened to overhear the older one say to the younger one:
“You’re the reason Santa doesn’t come to our house and mom and dad have to put out the presents!”

So, in this spirit, I forgive you for breaking into the shed and ‘borrowing’ my tractor. At least I didn’t get coal in my stocking this year.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidWell, now that I think of it, could I please have an advance on January's lump of coal? I already burned December's, and it's chilly out here in the shed.
Kind of you to say 'borrowing' sir, especially as I sold that tractor and used the money to buy pickles.
