@great-big-stees saidI believe there are times you try to play both sides. In my opinion that is not the actions of a nice guy. I believe before you started trying to play both sides you were one of the nicest guys on the site. Hope you find your way back there, Sincerely.
I think I already expressed my thoughts on VR’s “contribution” to this thread. As for my Mr. Nice Guy persona, it is what it is...I am.

@very-rusty saidI don't think this is the case at all. I think GBS simply gave his opinion (Twice).

Dive liked his first opinion when it coincided with his own and only questioned his niceness when his second opinion was less to his liking.
Are we really going to define niceness by how good people are at picking sides, or is niceness better defined by people speaking with measured honesty?

I agree to disagree with you on this. I've seen what GBS does for many years now. He does take sides first he is with gooster, then me, then gooster again. We have actually both noticed it. Obviously from GBS's posting. Jumping on the side that best suits you, doesn't make one a nice guy in my opinion. There were many years he didn't take a side either way. At that time one could say he was a nice guy. I'd love to see him get back to that Old GBS. Now let the red thumbs hail down upon me...LOL...

@ghost-of-a-duke saidNo children?
Just my wife and I this Christmas. First one in over 20 years when we didn't have a dog or cat in the house. Changed the feel of the day somewhat.

@very-rusty saidThe Stees I have known for many years doesn't want to take sides, and by not doing so, he may sometimes end up doing it because it is almost impossible to stay neutral. Not choosing is also a choice. We can't be liked by everybody. Over the years our character changes, it's inevitable.

@torunn saidIndeed. None of us are angels, but heaven help the lot of us if GBS doesn't qualify as a nice guy.

@torunn saidSo you his best friend agree, he doesn't stay neutral, flip flops from one side to the other who ever he happens to agree with at the time?

@ghost-of-a-duke saidNone of us are angels, and few of us can say we are truly nice guys either! GBS use to qualify, once you take a side you make bad friends. It has been like that for as long as I can remember.

@very-rusty saidStees and I are not best friends but we go back a long time, 2008 or something. I will leave it to him to answer your question.
