Xmas used to be fun with the extended family, good food and whatever, until all the women started having kids and it got too big so everyone branched off and did their own thing.

That was the same time I branched off and haven't spoken to any of them.

... because I hate them all.

Quiet Christmas this year, partly due to poor health. And work in the intray, too. The Jakarta branch of the family is not making the trek down here, I hear. Also, in the last 12 months, three key ancestral figures passed away. The graves will be visited. But, not much of a "wider family" vibe this year.
