and I am puzzled as to why it should be on the 'Clans' forum, just because it mentions a 'Clan'

The Clans forum is set up (it says) to ridicule , goad etc other Clans. Not as a recruiting house?

Surely, discussion includes recruitment.

Someone posts this very same "hint" in the Clans forum every month, so since it's a Clan "hint", Clans forum works for this, too. The whole thread should be moved over there.
