wow, didn't think this thread would be so popular! the club now has its own private forum btw for those wondering wether to join or not.
I was aware of the France club when creating this one. These two clubs are somewhat different tough. The France club is about France as a country/nationality whereas Echecs! is about french as a language..so it is "wider" in that sense. We'll be sharing a lot of members hopefully and the buzz in each club will most likely help each other recruit. But they are slightly different, french as a language is a lot more widespread than France alone. A lot of RHP members in Africa use french as well as the rest of Europe. I, myself am in North America and live in french (Québec, Canada). In other words, we're not here to compete with the France club even if we share a lot of members.
