Not really. It's more a feeling that everything was heavy going rather than unclear.
Some years ago I feasted coffee during lent. And it made no difference to my waking state or my bowel movements.
But that could be due to the fact that I like my coffee weak, so that it tastes different than just bitter (and neither milk nor sugar for me please).
