Here is a massive list of new words and new definitions for existing words added to the Oxford English Dictionary in December 2020 alone! The sheer number of items on the list ~ for just ONE month ~ is slightly mind-boggling.

Noun: a one hundred-word microfiction ~ exactly one hundred words long ~ not including the title and the author's name ~ that has been read out, recorded, and set to music or sound effects.


Rustification: Dumbing down human communication to grimaces, giggles and grunts.

Adjective: the state of having just been undone, exposed, dismissed ~ or otherwise dealt with ~ by a post that gets straight to the heart of the matter but doesn't have enough words in it to stretch all the way across the screen.
