My friend is colour blind between black and white, he still beats me at chess though.
im color blind also. im the same way as you shades are really hard to judge. navy blue and purple i can't tell appeart. greens reds and blues and purples throw me off. on the trafic lites i can't really tell the yellow from the red ones so it sucks when its a flashing light i can't really tell. and the green light looks white to me
