I think the "U" in "colour: is just a big waste of time...So I say leave it off. Best spelling is Color. It is nice to conserve letters.

You know what I sort of agree. But then I don't know any others so it is hard for me to make a true comparison. But it is confusing. And when you add punctuation. It is even more confusing. Especially when you do it wrong like I always do.
