@gambrel saidShe wasn't born yet! As I said her and one of my daughters are close to the same age.
You was one year old when I graduated from high school lol.
We sure have some age differences. Who wants to claim to be the youngest RHP Site member?

@very-rusty saidYou're aware that the youngest probably shouldn't claim it, right?

@very-rusty saidI was thinking that the internet is full of stalkers. I know for you oldsters, that's still tough to wrap your head around.
Good Point, I hadn't thought of that one. I guess they would have to say 13 or their Mom or Dad was teaching them how to play chess, also screen anything they see in the forums? Would that work?

@kevin-eleven saidI was already 4 when the Korean War began.
At least you were spared the disappointment of the hippies and 70s teenagers must have felt when the men in black suits, black limos, and black towers took over the country (which did inspire some good music, though).
Just before I turned 4, JFK was killed.
(I didn't do it, I swear!)
I was of the era of the hippies and 70s though not a teen in the 70s.
@great-big-stees saidThat continued into the 70's and very early 80's. I remember the first aids scare all that came to a grinding halt, no pun intended there.
In the 60s the thing I “wrapped around my head was a bandanna...peace out and god love free love.👍👏

WE ARE A GENERATION THAT WILL NEVER COME BACK.
A generation that went to school and walked back.
A generation that did their homework alone to get out asap to play in the street.
A generation that spent all their free time on the street.
A generation that played hide and seek when dark.
A generation that made mud cakes.
A generation that collected sports cards.
A ge ...[text shortened]... ortunately will never return!!...
I found the aforementioned and thought I would share it.

@suzianne saidThey were around back 30 years ago when I first got a computer that they soaked me good for. Salesman told me it would last me the rest of my life, ok that is gullible on my part. Something was telling me he was full of crap and just trying to make a sale. My buddy who know more about computers in fact built many for friends and family, told me when I get my next one take him with me which exactly what I did. Eventually he built someone I knew two because the parts wouldn't fit in the case she had. He built me one and if a part goes all I have to do is get it replaced, so much easier and cheaper too, I might add.

Growing up with the computer must be quite different for you youngsters. I am sure you are all more knowledgeable.
