I can't believe he missed the red, after taking such a difficult blue to the middle. 5-3 going into the final season, COME ON STEVE!!! He's always been my favourite player, mainly cos he wrote a chess book for beginners that is actually quite good. This could well be his last chance to clinch a major trophy (although they said that 3 years ago when he won the Masters...).

He was my childhood hero (Ginger made good) who I finally saw play in an exhibition against Ronnie in '98. He made 10 reds and blacks towards a 147 before rattling the jaw with a double to get out of trouble. His trick-shots show afterwards was pretty funky too.
