It was hot when it came out in 1982!
I think it cost around £200 pounds then and I can remember agonising for a couple of weeks over spending that much money on it.

My dad bought me an Acorn Electron cos "it looked like a computer should".
As a child I was both ashamed and proud, if you can have those conflicting states of mind at the same time. Loved that computer though.
