Not happy, there are plenty of other sites to spend your money on.

Just hope they don't invoke section 13 on you.

What will you be wanting next. A cheaper rate because you only use the site a few hours per week.

So, just because it wasn't my turn to move, I am being penalized. Now many of my opponents have more time in their timebank than they did when the game started. That is not fai ...[text shortened]... not so much that they in effect started the game with more time on their clocks that I have.
i agree, its not fair.
this -in my opinion-unpleasend-person i have a 7-14 game running with HARDLY moves, its so irritating, i was looking all the time how much timebank he had left and he was on like 9 days, and now he had 2 more added:///

I expect that adding two days timebank across the board was probably the easiest and fairest method of sorting things out. It's mostly fair, because the people who were waiting to move would otherwise have lost those 2 days. It's slightly broken because, in some cases, it has meant that people have more timebank now than when they started (for example where the timebank was not depleating I guess)

I expect it would have been a more complex procedure for the timebank only to have been credited in this scenerio and that scenerio but not for this game or that game, and after two days worth of work on the upgrade it probably wasn't the sort of thing that warranted too much effort.

I think anyone who is really dragging a game will fall foul of timeouts eventually. If you're a member it hardly really affects you in the grand scheme of things, it's just a dead game sat at the end of your list.

EDIT - Actually I just noticed in a help thread that the case I mention above before where some people have more timebank than before was an error, but we're stuck with it now.

down.

I mean, we're paying for a service, that service being a functioning chess site.
Now if that service isn't available we shouldn't have to pay for those days.
Does anyone agree?

Granted it's not much money...it's more of the principle.

Hmm. I'd have thought with all the millions they'd get a nicer place than a cave.

I guess. But I think if I was coining it in like these guys I'd want something nicer than a cave.

They should raise the sub prices.

Unless it was a crater. You could have an evil empire inside a crater. And a missile or similar.
