on my model (advent can't remember the model cos it's at home), it's under my user settings, which are found on the main menu (or a short cut is by clicking on your picture at the top of the window). It depends if you've got Wiundows XP

Windows XP:
Start/Control Panel/Power Options/Powerr Schemes tab/ set the time to 'never' or whatever time you want.
