To play chess I click on the IE icon and the talktalk homepage opens but for a fraction of a second it says "Apache Tomcat" in the header and then changes to "AOL TalkTalk".

Is there something sinister at work?

nope - I used to get the same - its no problem - talktalk joined up with AOL for their web stuff.

I don't use that part of talktalk anymore.

I also don't use IE - prefer firefox. 🙂

Thanks Doc! I can sleep easy now!

I have Firefox too but can't see much difference on RHP. Do I have to download something to get extra features?

Greasemonkey Extension and the scripts that go with it for RHP. Ragnorak or Ouroborous will be along with a link for you no doubt - or you could look in the developers forum.

Here is a firefox "starter kit".

1 http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/

Firefox (or be sure you have latest version)

2 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/190

Linkification

3 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748

Greasemonkey

4 http://members.shaw.ca/ouroboros/RHP/

(These are the RHP ones... don't get the one that hides your pieces. Read careful!)

5 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1122

Tab Mix

6 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1368?id=1368&vid=7020

Colorful Tabs

7 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1941

Hyperwords (I don't use this anymore)

Expand from there, be sure to figure out how to customize to your liking, lots of options.

I just worked my way down the links in Phabbit's post. I pasted them into the navigation bar but after the first 2 or 3 downloads the addresses in the post become clickable links so the process speeds up. Each one installs new stuff. It all worked except one to do with coloured tabs.
