You "illuminate" the difference between a liberal and a conservative. I think he came back the next spring, went to take a crap and found "grain". What you think?😀

I think you meant 'literal' and not 'liberal' 😀

My original reply was banned. Sorry.

Lets try...

We ( you and I) seem to demonstrate the basic difference between a liberal and conservative attitude on this. I would tend to say that said fellow (notice the nice attitude) had occasion to incurr a bowel movement, returned the next spring and found "food" growing. Bummer... n'est pas?

Actually, the fact that dung beetles and maggots are separate animals, and not direct products of their wallows of excreta was first verified much later by another man who should be on the list, Bob Hooke.

😛😉😛

Yes, Gregor, that peasnik. He should be on the list too.

Wallace. Agreed.

I will contend that Freud and Jung deserve a place among most influencial. I'm sure there are others who were part of the development of psychoanalysis that spawned the human potential movement ranging from everything from AA to dream analysis to Gestalt therapy and a host of other modalities. Just consider other parts of the world where this has not taken place. Kirk

Then after speech came what? The perfection of speech? As in "Object... <Action>"? that is the way i see it... Object first... then verb... i don't see adjective until about 40,000 years ago. That ... coincidentally is what we call the "Advent of Modern Man"... The thinking is that until we are able to "describe"... we are on the same plane as our bonobo/chimp brothers.

Hi Bennet...

Most good. Wherein we all became subject to "debate" if not law? I think you are right. Interesting that you come in as a "person" guy, rather than a "thing" guy, ie, ideas over inventions.

Kirk,

I waited and thought for a while on your post before replying. I have been much involved with "psychoanalysis" because of what happened to me as a child. I don't see any good that comes from it. It is a scam second to none.

I wasted many thousands of dollars on it before realizing it is snake oil. Next to "Smoke Jumpers"... I can think of no profession that is as useless as that of a psychiatrist. Smoke jumpers get paid about 80 grand a year for pretending they can control nature. Psychiatrists get paid many times that for pretending they can identify/modify human nature.

For what it's worth....
Very Dissatisfied customer,
Mike
