Oi! I'm Dutch, not French! If you want to call your dog Richard (and why not, it's a good pet to have and a good name to give it), at least get a real dog. Either a Dutch shepherd or a proper mutt. None of these displasia-ridden pretty-bred semi-cats for me, thank you.

My father had an English Mastiff, there are still drool stains 8 to 10 feet high on the walls of both his home and the office.
