An engine in chess terms means using a program like Fritz or Shredder or something else to make you moves for you instead of using your own brain to think of moves. Using an engine is against the rules here.
What is "engine use"?

I have another question (just can it dottewell)...if you are playing a person in a game, and they are sitting there playing the game, they can actually sit there and send messages in the game while an "engine" makes the moves for them? I'm asking because I've played a lot of games against Trains, and would be very surprised to learn he was cheating in them.

Originally posted by SJ247The "engine" is another program entirely, it's not designed to run within RHP or your internet browser. π The engine would analyze the position and give you the best move to make. Also, cheaters don't necessarily use their engines in every game.

Don't bother answering.
