@contenchess saidChill for a few days over Christmas then might travel somewhere, Spain maybe for a week or so just to get away but depends on possible lockdowns etc.
Any plans?
@contenchess saidWorse town was a border town in Brazil on the border with Bolivia. Would have to check the map to get the name. Assis or something, might be completely wrong. But it was mostly due to the accommodation.
@Trev33
What was the worst place you traveled to?
@trev33 saidCan't be any worse than Bideford. We waited an hour for the bus to get us there, and spent no more than 30 minutes. We jumped on a bus heading back to Barnstable and it was the same driver.

I was travelling with an Irish girl I had met in Peru at the time (of course) and dragged her with me on a crazy route through Peru into Bolivia via Brazil (i wanted that Brazil stamp in my passport you see) and we didn’t realise that the town on the Bolivian side was actually rather nice and so much cheaper than the $hytehoke in Brazil. Still remember the guys reaction who had brought us there when we told him we were going to spent a night on the Brazil side, Bolivia was just across a small bridge you see so he could have said something.
@trev33 saidIs there a part 2 to this like what happened with you and the Irish girl, etc., etc.,?

@very-rusty saidShe’s married and lives in Holland now, I haven’t slept with or even kissed another Irish girl since. That was over 13 years ago now... we ended up travelling together down to Argentina then she needed to back.

@trev33 saidServes you right for being a saddo wanting a stamp in your passport.

@the-gravedigger saidI also asked them to stamp my passport going into Dublin once, saddo is indeed the correct term but this saddo loves a passport stamp. Took the bus from Argentina to Peru rather than flying just to get the Chile stamp, Chilleeee 🇨🇱
