Yes, but it also requires a good teamplay attitude; unlike UT2004 or Q3, because then you just respawn.

However, a good game of Q3 CTF never goes astray...neither does Wolfenstein Enemy Territory.

i spent half of last year playing quake 3 and unreal tournament GOTY (i'm a bit behind the times...) on my hall network. however, i shall not be in a hall next year so i'll needing a (cheap) substitute for LAN gaming. any ideas?

You know if I had to guess the FPS players in this thread based on spelling alone I think I'd bat about 0.800 .
