I think you have good chances to achieve that. Furniture is generally on a much higher spiritual level than the average human. It tends to be in a constant state of meditation, unmoved by emotions or things happening around it. From there, levitation should be just a small step.
I was staring at my mop and bucket wondering how these objects came to take the place of non mop and bucket tools, when my "supervisor" politely advised me that they are not going to move themselves.
He must know because he has the wisdom of being 19 years old.
So you must be wrong.

I asked some top scientists to review your post and come up with a suitable retort.
"You could always turn the bucket upside down and use it as a chair, and the mop could be used as a cloak stand."
Money well spent I think.

When together, they balance the universe between clean and dirty, when apart they are as sad as two broken hearts.
They are not noticed, until they are not there.
They are fundamental to the ground we walk on.
How ignorant is man.

Originally posted by WoodgieThanks Woodgie. it's all going outside with plastic covers. I am also having a clearout of my belongings and putting them on the local Freecyle website - free to anyone who wants to collect and it keeps it out of landfill.
Add a zero to that and it would be more like it in the UK.
Pawn Queen, you will have to knuckle down and start blu-tacking stuff to the ceiling, or find a helpful relative or put it in the back garden under plastic or decide whether you own too much stuff anyway or find an electrician that will work around it (yeah right, like that is possible).
Either way, you might find a bottle of Vodka helpful.
Good luck.
According to my electrician, I have too many books. So how many am I allowed?😕

I have approximately 20 metres of bookshelf and could maybe do with another 2 metres to house books that are dotted around the house and in use. My thoughts on the matter are that I won't stop acquiring books until I can no longer see, then it would be fair enough to say I don't need them.
