That would be quite HILARIOUS!!!

Alright playoff time!!!! Im not happy the brewers made it but if we have to we can knock them off in the nlcs hopefully. I like our rotation and the bullpen just hopefully the offense holds up

Brewers won't probably make it to play the Cubs, but if they do, they have a shot. We split the last 6 games against them, and finished 9-7 vs them on the year. Would be fun.

I'm sick of Ted Lilly, though. He's ridiculous for a #4 starter. 😛

Lilly has kicked it up since April. I love Zambrano but i think Ted should be pitching game 2 and carlos game 3 with harden games 4

Lilly is their stopper in the bullpen if they need him, that's why he'd go in game 4. Harden gets the start cause his ERA is under 2 with the Cubs. Zambrano is their ace, and Dempster is the feel-good pick. Everything is in the Cubs' favor to smash the Dodgers.

I think Zambrona should be their 4th pitcher in the series, Lilly should
be 3rd just for the change of hard right hand throwers to the south
paw. They do have an oustanding pitching staff starters and relievers
no doubt about that.

It is tough just thinking something is bound to go wrong after so
many disappointments.

Dempster's control looked awful in the playoff loss. Didn't he throw, like, 8 balls in 9 pitches to start the 5th inning? I would have pulled him at that point; it just wasn't going to get better.

It seems the Dodgers felt good about Dempster too!! 😉

Speaking of smashing....would 3 HR's by the Dodgers qualify as smashing?

Everything was in place for the Cubs to smash them, but obviously things haven't gone that way. The Cubs of the regular season stayed there.

I couldn't be happier, to be honest. The Dodgers were the name of my little league team. I still have the hat, somewhere. 🙂

How crazy?...? You mean about them getting swept? Well, it was surprising, but not really at the same time. The Cubs are the Cubs. This is what happens to them. I'm pleased. Even if the Crew don't make it, I'm happy with either the Phillies or Dodgers making it. Both would be interesting. Dodgers have the momentum, Phillies have the talent. We'll see.

Can you imagine a Dodgers/Phillies/Rays world series? That would be great!

Suppan should be fun watch, one way or another. 😉

But for how long, especially in light of the fact that they lost.....again?

A curse that is powerful enough to neutralize the talents of Sweet Lou is a powerful curse indeed!!
