tis just bowls on ice. but instead of aiming for a ball you're aiming for a circle within many circles... guy to have a stone closest to the little middle circle wins that leg. number of points they get depends on the number of stones they have closest to the middle circle... 1 = 1 point, 2 = 2 points..etc. there's 10 legs per match, each team having the all important last stone 5 times and who ever has the most points at the end of the 10 legs wins.

and it sucks.

Curling is just plain weird....I'd like to know the circumstance where that game was actually created, let alone considered a sport.

God, I love bowls.
I actually got a second-hand book from an old-age home garage sale* for R5 - How to become a bowls champion.

I enjoy any sport that I can compete in with a cigarette in the mouth and a beer in the hand...



*I hope it wasn't from a dead geezer's estate...
