This has got to be the most fatuous, ignorant and mind-bogglingly stupid statement, even by VR’s admittedly low standards, ever to have appeared in these illustrious posts.
Forget education, forget training the mind to express oneself clearly and lucidly with correct grammatical syntax, forget the beautiful writings of Shakespeare, Dickens et al, the oratory of Socrates and Churchill, the poetry of Hafiz, Emily Dickinson etc.
VR has declared grammar UNIMPORTANT.
Good grief!
