Cynical tackles

I was just watching Spain vs. Russia on the BBC.
And to my suprise the commentator felt that not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 tackles were cynical tackles.

Now, obviously I first wondered if there were any philanthropic tackles. I mean, tackling someone for EVERYONE's benefit. That would be nice. But I presumed no-one ever does.

Are there sarcast tackles? What about Ironic tackles?

Seriously, do these commentators know what they're brabbeling about?

No,they don't.In their defense I must say that it's hard to talk about a 90 minute game that,on average,only has 20 minutes of noteworthy action.In this particular game maybe only 7 minutes.
