I found that prior to fatherhood I had no use for black jelly beans. After several patriarchal years of screening bags of jelly beans, I have acquired a taste for them.
p.s. I know there is a difference between acquiring a taste in the context you are using...but that doesn't mean I have to like that phrase any more than I do now! 😛
